My husband and I married when I was 40, and we started trying to get pregnant about 6 months later. After we didn't get any results, we went to a fertility specialist. After two failed IUIs my doctor told me I should consider donor egg or adoption. I couldn't afford donor egg, and I still wanted to have my own child. I was about ready to give up on my dream of having a child. A friend of mine suggested I try acupuncture at the Axelrad Clinic. She had received treatment there for menopausal issues, and raved about her experience. I decided to schedule an appointment, even though I hate needles and was very nervous.Chris made me feel at ease from the first moment I met with him. He was very knowledgeable, and he listened to me more than anyone else had. I did four treatments with him. I'm happy to report the needles didn't hurt at all, and I was so relaxed after my visits!

I wasn't able to continue treatment with Chris because of work issues, but he gave me a plan to follow that included some dietary advice and supplements, as well as Chinese herbs. His manner of helping me was amazing. He gave me so much confidence that I could get pregnant on my own, that I just had to be patient. And, he also said if I wanted to do another IUI I would have a better chance because of the changes I was making.

About 3 months after I last saw Chris in person, I missed my period. I thought it was perimenopause, but my husband told me to take a pregnancy test just in case. Well, I was pregnant! Now I have a beautiful baby daughter, and I am so grateful because I knew I couldn't have done it without Chris' help. Thank you, Chris!

Chris, Thank you for sending the email. My husband loved it, too! He said everything you said makes sense and he is glad that I have have tools to cope.But here is the big news!!!! I got my fertility report.

I had 16 follicles at the time of retrieval!
They were able to fertilize 11
and 9, get it 9, ARE VIABLE EMBRYOS!
The nurse's comment was, "where did they all come from?????"
